1.	Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms)	Class 10TH/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or equivalent of grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate in C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.	*17½- 23 Years**
2.	Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)	10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory	17½ – 23 Years
3.	Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)	10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR 10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognised State Edn Bd or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.	17½ – 23 Years
4.	Agniveer Tradesmen 10th pass (All Arms)	(i) Class 10th simple pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored in 33% in each subject.	17½ – 23 Years
5.	Agniveer Tradesmen 8 th pass (All Arms)	(i) Class 8th simple pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored in 33% in each subject.	17½ – 23 Years

*Note:

The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as a one- time measure for the Recruiting Year 2022-23.
01 October 2022 will be taken as effective date of determining age eligible for candidate.
For calculation of aggregate marks for each category all subjects including additional subjects mentioned in the marks sheet will be considered.

The candidates will be shortlisted through four stages as mentioned in the Indian Army Agneepath Scheme Notification. The candidates have to appear in each stage and qualify as per the standards required.
