HPU Shimla Recruitment 2022 : The International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning ( ICDEOL ) Himachal Pradesh University , Shimla is inviting applications to engage Guest Faculty / Resource Teachers for the conduct of Personal Contact Programme ( PCP ) in respect of all the Undergraduate , Postgraduate and Diploma courses recognized by the University Grant Commission ( DEB ) .

The Guest Faculty / Resource Teachers are required in the subjects of Commerce , Computer Science , Economics , English , Education ( B.Ed. & M.A. Education ) , Hindi , History , Journalism and Mass Communication , Music , MBA , Mathematics , Political Science , Public Administration , Sanskrit , Sociology , Tourist Guide and Yoga Studies . The engagement shall be purely on period / per lecture basis as per requirement of the concerned subject and remuneration to the faculty will be paid as per University prevailing rules / norms . The guest faculty will not be treated like regular teachers for the purpose of voting rights or for becoming the members of various statutory bodies of the University .
