HPU ICDEOL Bed Counselling Schedule 2023

Before going through the Counseling Schedule, please read the following instructions/information carefully. 

1. The candidates must bring Printout of “Online Admission Form”, all the original requisite documents along with one set of photocopies (self attested) of the same at the time of Physical Counseling (See documents lists mentioned at Page No. 9 & 10, in Information Brochure, Admission to B.Ed. (ODL) Mode, Academic Year 2023-24, Academic session beginning July-August 2023.

2. The In-service teachers (Shastri/Vishisht Shastri/Acharya/Jyotishacharya and Language Teachers/Prabhakar) without OT Training and LT Training respectively are eligible for admission to B. Ed. Course as per NCTE norms subject to the production of ORIGINAL SPECIAL CERTIFICATE issued by Director of Elementary Education, H.P. Government only. (SEE ANNEXURE-IV)

3. The candidate who has done two- year diploma through NIOS need to produce teaching experience of that particular tenure /period of diploma. Further, these candidates alongwith Drawing teacher/Art &Craft teacher/Physical Education Teacher have to be presently working as a teacher and have to produce school affiliation letter

copy of their joining report and teaching experience of the school where they are working. For employment certificate duly signed by Head of the Institution SEE ANNEXURE-I.

4. In-service employees will have to produce NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC) from their employer for pursuing higher studies at the time of physical counseling. HPU Bed Counselling Schedule 2023

5. Original Detail Marks Cards (DMCs) of qualifying examinations (First Year, Second Year and Final Year) and also of Post-Graduation if any. If any candidate has passed his/her UG or PG from other than H.P. University, he/she should bring with them UGC or UGC-DEB Recognition Letter. See sample of UGC/UGC-DEB letter for H.P. University. (SEE ANNEXURE-III)

6. The candidates who are unable to attend their counseling may authorize the other individual for attending the counseling along with all original necessary documents, authority letter with photo fixed on letter, ID proof of the person appearing for the Counseling and fees etc. as per Authority letter format. (SEE ANNEXURE-II)

7. The candidates who will get admission to B.Ed. Course, have to deposit the requisite fee (Rs. 14800/-) for first year through ATM Debit Card/Credit Card of any Nationalized Bank (No cash payment will be allowed) only after confirmation of their admission at the time of counseling. (For the payment of fee, Login ID and Password of ONLINE ADMISSION FORM is mandatory, kindly remember it.)

8. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Personal Counseling. HPU Bed Counselling Schedule 2023

9. The relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped Categories will be as per the existing rules of Himachal Pradesh University. 

10. Reservation Roster of Himachal Pradesh University is being followed for making admissions to B.Ed. course. Reservation will only be given to H. P. Domicile candidates.

11. The teachers with NTT qualification are not eligible for admission to B.Ed. course as per NCTE norms.

12. Mere calling for Physical Counseling will not entitle a candidate for admission to B.Ed. Course. The Physical Counseling is organized to verify the original documents so as to ensure the eligibility of the candidates strictly as per NCTE norms.

13. The eligibility of the Applicants will be decided on the basis of the Last date for applying for the said course i.e. 12 August, 2023,
