Indian Navy Tradesman Mate Syllabus 2023
(i) General Intelligence and Reasoning:
This section will cover a range of topics designed to evaluate candidates’ logical and reasoning skills. The questions will encompass mathematical operations, series, identifying the odd one out, logical Venn diagrams, analogies, word-based problems, problem-solving, drawing inferences, coding-decoding and non-verbal reasoning.
(ii) General English & Comprehension:
Candidates’ grasp of the English language will be tested in this section, along with their ability to comprehend written passages. The assessment will include vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension and the proper usage of language.
(iii) Numerical Aptitude / Quantitative Ability:
This segment will gauge candidates’ proficiency in working with numbers. The questions will cover a variety of problem types related to number systems, time and work, mensuration, ratio and proportion, average, profit and loss, discount, percentage, time and distance, simple and compound interest, statistical charts, trigonometry, geometry and more.
(iv) General Awareness:
Candidates will be tested on their knowledge of India and its neighboring countries, with a particular emphasis on subjects like sports, history, culture, geography, physics, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, economics, current events, general policies including the Indian Constitution and scientific research. The questions will be structured to not require specialized study in any particular discipline.
