HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Nagrota Bagwan Para Workers – Educational Qualification
Para Pump Operator
Candidates should have:
- Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognized board.
- ITI Certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic or an equivalent trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Candidates with only Matric qualification and Skill Development Scheme training certificate are also eligible.
Para Fitter
Candidates should have:
- Matriculation (10th) pass.
- ITI Certificate in Fitter/Plumber from a recognized ITI/Institute.
- Candidates possessing Matric with Skill Development Scheme certificate are also eligible.
Multi Purpose Worker
Candidates should have:
- Minimum Middle Pass (8th) or equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government/Central Government.
Age Limit
- 18 to 45 Years

Selection Process

- Merit prepared according to the prescribed policy of the Jal Shakti Vibhag.

- Separate communication will be issued for the Skill/Physical Test (where applicable).

- Bonafide Himachali certificate.
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- Matriculation certificate showing detail of marks obtained. In case Grades are awarded, conversion
factor / percentage of marks shall be certified from the Head of Institute and in case Grades
converted to percentage are not submitted by the applicant the application shall be rejected. - Relevant ITI/Skill Development certificate.
- Proof of Age.
- Latest proof of BPL Family, certificate issued not older than six months.
- Latest Character Certificate issued by the 1st Class Magistrate required.
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
- Experience certificate as described below.
For Multipurpose Workers.
