Directorate of Energy Himachal Pradesh Apprentice Training 2026: The Directorate of Energy Himachal Pradesh Apprenticeship Training 2026 under the “Himachal Pradesh Power Sector Development Program” aided by the World Bank, Directorate of Energy, GoHP invites applications from eligible female candidates for undergoing one year apprenticeship training (without any extension whatsoever) in the Various trades. The eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed application form and sumit it via email on or before 20 September 2026.
The apprenticeship duration is only for one year and monthly stipend shall be paid Rs. 12,300/-per month as per Apprenticeship Act. Candidates are advised to check the official notification carefully before submiting the application form.

Selection Process
There will be no interview for selection.
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted through a merit list based on marks obtained in Matriculation, 10+2/Diploma and the essential qualification for the concerned trade.

Terms & Conditions
- No application shall be entertained after closing date.
- Age Limit:The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum will be 30 years as on 01.01.2026 (Relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST/OBC(Non- creamy layer)/PWDs)
- Stipend: Rs. 12,300/- per month.
- Training duration: One Year.
- Only Female candidates are eligible to apply. Preference to extent of 80% of vacancy shall be given to Bonafide residents of State.
- Candidates should be eligible with respect to age criteria and educational qualification as on 31.07.2026. Result awaited candidates need not apply.
- Wherever CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded in the Diploma /Degree examination, its equivalent aggregate percentage of marks must be indicated in the Application Form as per the norms adopted by University / Institute.
- Candidates have to apply for ANY ONE TRADE / DISCIPLINE ONLY. Candidates applying for more than One Trade/ discipline will not be considered and their applications will be summarily rejected.
- No extension of apprenticeship will be given after the completion of one year apprenticeship trainingby DoE.
- DoE shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices during and /or after thecompletion of apprenticeship period.
- The candidates who have already undergone training or job experience of one year or more after completion of their educational qualification shall be ineligible.
- Selection Criteria: There will be no interviews. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th), 12th/Diploma and essential qualification of the trade, as per following details:
- The candidates will be shortlisted on the following criteria:-
- Weightage of Marks obtained in Matriculation: 20%
- Weightage of Marks obtained in 10+2 or Diploma (In case of both, whichever is higher): 20%
- Essential Qualification: 60%
- Total Marks: 100
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in the official website of DoE i.e. https://doe.hp.gov.in . No separate intimation shall be made in this regard.
- The candidates shortlisted on the basis of the information provided in the Application Form shall haveto produce all original testimonials/certificates at the time of verification/ documentation. In case any information/claim made by the applicant in her application is found to be false, the candidature of such applicant shall be cancelled and she shall be liable for prosecution. Also the candidate will have to produce a certificate of medical fitness before joining.
- The candidate must ascertain the correctness of all information before filling the Application Form and its final submission.
- The shortlisted candidates shall be called for document verification in ratio of 1:3 for each seat.
- The decision of authorities will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection and cancellation of the Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates selection process either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. And no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability / insufficient number of candidates.
- The candidate must have an active email ID and Mobile Number which must be valid for at least next one year. All future communication including corrigendum/ Addendum with regard to this advertisement with candidate will take place only through official website of DoE i.e. doehimachal.nic.in.
- Application form: – application form can be downloaded from the official website of DoE i.e. https://doe.hp.gov.in . No application on any other format will be accepted.
- Directorate of energy, GoHP will not provide any accommodation or transportation etc. for shortlisted candidates.

- The applicant shall write her name as per the matriculation certificate in the relevant
column of the application. - Incomplete application form shall be rejected straightaway without assigning any reason.
- The candidate must ensure their eligibility in respect of category, age & essential
