Educational Qualification

Sports Qualification
This recruitment is specifically for meritorious sportspersons. Candidates must have participated in or won medals at the specified levels of competition during the period 01 January 2024 to 01 November 2026.
Eligible sporting achievements include specified International, National, Inter-University and Khelo India Games competitions. The detailed advertisement contains separate conditions for each level of competition.

ITBP Constable GD Physical Standards
Height
The standard height is:
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm
Relaxation is available for specified categories. For example, candidates belonging to Himachal Pradesh, along with Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras and Marathas, have relaxed height standards of 165 cm for males and 155 cm for females.
Chest – Male Candidates
- Un-expanded: 80 cm
- Minimum expansion: 5 cm
Relaxed standards are applicable to certain categories as specified in the notification. For candidates belonging to categories including Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and certain listed States/UTs including Himachal Pradesh, the un-expanded chest requirement is 78 cm with 5 cm minimum expansion.
Medical Standards
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed medical standards. The notification specifies, among other requirements, minimum unaided distant vision of 6/6 and 6/9, with no visual correction permitted by glasses or lenses. Colour blindness, knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins and squint are among the conditions mentioned in the medical standards.
