HPRCA Teacher Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification
The educational requirements differ according to the subject. Candidates must possess the prescribed academic qualifications and professional certificates for their respective posts.
- English Teacher: M.A./M.Sc. English and B.Ed. with English as a compulsory subject, along with the prescribed graduation marks and TET qualification.
- Mathematics Teacher: M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics and B.Ed. with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Candidates must also fulfil the prescribed marks criteria and qualify TET.
- Hindi, History, Political Science, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Sanskrit: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. with at least 50% marks and qualified TET.
- Computer Teacher: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/IT, MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science or other specified computer-related qualifications.
- Music Teacher: Master’s Degree in Vocal/Instrumental with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. and TET qualification.
- Commerce Teacher: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject, including eligible Accountancy and Financial Accountancy specializations, along with B.Ed. and TET.
- Physical Education Teacher: Prescribed Physical Education qualifications, including applicable B.P.Ed./BPE/B.Sc. and M.P.Ed./M.A. Physical Education combinations.
- Fine Arts Teacher: Master’s Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts with 50% marks OR the prescribed Fine Arts diploma qualification after Higher Secondary.
