Senior Personal Assistant – 117 Posts
Senior Personal Assistant is a Group-B post at Level-8 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC. The category-wise vacancies include 43 GEN, 14 EWS, 32 OBC-NCL, 16 SC and 12 ST, totaling 117 posts. 7 vacancies are reserved horizontally for PwBD candidates.
Personal Assistant – 33 Posts
Personal Assistant is a Group-B post at Level-7 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC. There are 33 vacancies, including 7 EWS, 16 OBC-NCL, 5 SC and 5 ST. There is no General-category vacancy for the Personal Assistant post. 3 vacancies are reserved horizontally for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification
Senior Personal Assistant
Candidates must:
- Hold a Graduation degree from a recognised University.
- Have a minimum 110 words per minute shorthand speed in English.
- Have a minimum 40 words per minute typing speed in English on computer.
- Possess good working knowledge of computers.
Personal Assistant
Candidates must:
- Hold a Graduation degree from a recognised University.
- Have a minimum 100 words per minute shorthand speed in English.
- Have a minimum 40 words per minute typing speed in English on computer.
- Possess good working knowledge of computers.
The required educational qualification must be possessed by the last date of submission of online applications, i.e. 05 October 2026.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be 18 to 32 years as on 01 January 2026.
The candidate should have been born not earlier than 02 January 1994 and not later than 01 January 2008.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- English Typing Test – Qualifying
- English Shorthand Test
- Main (Descriptive) Examination
- Interview
For SPA, the typing test assesses a minimum speed of 40 WPM, followed by shorthand at 110 WPM. The Main Examination carries 100 marks and the Interview carries 15 marks.
For PA, the shorthand test is conducted at 100 WPM, followed by the Main Descriptive Examination and Interview. The Main Examination carries 100 marks and Interview carries 15 marks.
The final merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in the Shorthand Test, Main Examination and Interview, while the Typing Test is qualifying in nature.
Main Examination Pattern
The Main Descriptive Examination of English language includes:
- Essay – 40 Marks
- Letter Writing – 15 Marks
- Grammar & Comprehension Passage – 25 Marks
- Hindi to English Translation – 10 Marks
- English to Hindi Translation – 10 Marks
Total: 100 Marks | Time: 120 Minutes.
