Jammu & Kashmir Vocational Trainers Recruitment 2026 – Overview

Job Opportunity: Engagement of Vocational Trainers

Olive Heritage Foundation invites applications for Contractual Positions of Vocational Trainers (Total no. of positions: 33) to be engaged in Government Schools of Jammu & Kashmir (UT) under the CSS Program.

Pre-Requisites

1. Applicants should be domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
2. Selection shall be made on district basis i.e. candidates hailing from the districts where vacancies exist shall be preferred. In case of non-availability of candidates within the district, selection for such trade will be made from other districts within the same division.
3. Age Requirement: 18–40 years (as of January 1, 2026). Age relaxation to be provided as per Government rules.

Trade-wise Vacancy & Eligibility Details

Trade: Apparels, Made-ups & Home Furnishings

Positions: Rajouri (3), Jammu (2)

Eligibility Criteria:
Post-graduation in Textile and Clothing or relevant area from a recognized Institute/University with at least 1-year work/teaching experience in Textile and Clothing.

OR

Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Sewing Technology trade having NTC/STC/NAC from a recognized institution.

OR

Graduate in any field with 3 years of teaching/work experience in the relevant field (however, if selected, the candidate shall need to acquire certification in the Sewing Machine Operator within 1 year of appointment).

Trade: Logistics

Position: Jammu (4)

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate (B.Com/BBA) with one year work or teaching experience in the area of logistics.

OR

Three-years Diploma in Logistics Management with two years work or teaching experience in logistics.

OR

P.G. Diploma in Logistics Management with at least 55% marks and two years work or teaching experience in logistics.

Preference will be given to higher education with MBA/M.Com (Marketing or Logistics Management).

Trade: Construction

Positions: Rajouri (4), Srinagar (2)

Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with at least 1-year work/teaching experience.

OR

Three-years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2-years work/teaching experience.

Trade: Plumbing

Positions: Pulwama (2), Bandipora (1), Kupwara (1)

Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / B.Voc (Bachelor in Vocational) from a recognized Institute/University with at least 1-year work/teaching experience.

OR

Three-years Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with 2-years work/teaching experience.

Trade: Automotive

Position: Udhampur (5)

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor Degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with at least 1-year work/teaching experience.

OR

Three-years Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with at least 3-years work/teaching experience.

OR

B.Voc (Bachelor in Vocational) in Automobile with at least 2-years work/teaching experience.

Trade: Physical Education & Sports

Positions: Jammu (03), Kathua (02), Budgam (03), Anantnag (1)

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate (with a major in Physical Education) with at least 2 years teaching/work experience.

OR

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) with at least 2-years teaching/work experience.

OR

Post-graduation in Physical Education from a recognized Institute/University with at least 1-year work/teaching experience.

Salary / Honorarium

Monthly Honorarium: ₹20,000/- per month (All Inclusive)
