Salary / Honorarium

Educational Qualification
Para Cook
Candidates applying for the Para Cook post should fulfil the following qualification:
- The candidate should have passed the Matriculation examination from a School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. The condition of passing 10th from a Himachal Pradesh school is not applicable to Bona fide Himachalis.
- The candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute, OR
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cooking/Catering from any Government or private institution.
- A separate affidavit has to be submitted stating that no one is in a Government/PSU/Board job among the candidate’s family members.
Para Helper
Candidates applying for the Para Helper post should have:
- Passed Matriculation examination from a Board/University recognized by the H.P. Government.
- A separate affidavit stating that no family member is employed in any Government/PSU/Board job is also required.
Age Limit
The age limit for both Para Cook and Para Helper posts is:
