Selection Process
The selection for Scientific/Technical Assistant-A will be based on GATE Score.
NIC will prepare a category-wise merit list separately for each discipline based on the GATE score. Candidates can submit their best eligible GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Equal weightage will be given to GATE scores of all three eligible years.
Candidates shortlisted according to the vacancies will subsequently be called for Document Verification. After successful verification of the required documents and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions, candidates will be offered provisional appointment.
