SBI Clerk Notification 2026
State Bank of India has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only and can appear for the recruitment test only once. Applicants must be proficient in the specified local language of their selected State/UT. The language proficiency test will be conducted after the Main Examination and before joining; candidates who have studied the required language in Class 10th or 12th and provide valid proof will be exempted.

Age Limit
The age limit for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 is 20 to 28 years as on 01 April 2026. Candidates must have been born between 02 April 1998 and 01 April 2006, both dates inclusive.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years

Candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th will have to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates who produce a 10th/12th certificate showing that they studied the specified local language will not be required to appear for this test.
