HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Karsog Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification
1. Para Pump Operator – 4 Posts
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with ITI Certificate in any of the following trades from a recognized ITI:
- Electrician
- Wireman
- Diesel Mechanic
- Pump Mechanic/Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
- Pump Operation-cum-Mechanic
- Pump Operation & Maintenance
OR
Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.
Honorarium: ₹7,100/- per month
2. Para Fitter – 2 Posts
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with ITI Certificate in the trade of Fitter/Plumber from a recognized ITI/Institute.
OR
Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.
Honorarium: ₹7,100/- per month
3. Multipurpose Workers – 4 Posts
The candidate should have passed Middle (8th) or above from a school duly recognized by the State Government.
Honorarium: ₹6,000/- per month
Age Limit
The minimum age for application is 18 years and the maximum age is 45 years.

Experience
Experience of the related field from IPH/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs or an outsourcing agency providing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag will be considered.
A certificate issued by the Executive Engineer (EE), Jal Shakti Vibhag is required.
For Pump Operator, related field means operation and maintenance of pumping machinery allied electrical installations of Rural Water Supply Scheme/Irrigation Schemes.
For Fitter, related field means maintaining village piped water supply infrastructure or distribution system of Rural Water Supply/Irrigation Schemes only.
HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Karsog Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit based on the documents submitted by them.
The shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for a Skill Test/Physical Test. The date of the physical/skill test will be intimated separately.
Candidates must bring their original certificates/testimonials at the time of the physical/skill test.
