1. Personal Assistant/Judgment Writer – Mode-C
Total Vacancies: 03
Pay Level: Level-12, ₹43,000–₹1,36,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate Stenographers working in the High Court with no rider of service, or
- Junior Scale Stenographers having at least 5 years of service as Junior Scale Stenographer in the High Court.
- English Stenography speed: 110 W.P.M.
- English typing speed on computer: 55 W.P.M.
- Candidates must accurately transcribe the dictated matter within a period of 5 times the time allotted for dictation and typing speed.
- Maximum 10% mistakes are allowed in the stenography/typing test.
- Candidates committing more than 10% mistakes will be declared unqualified.
- Recruitment will be based on a limited competitive proficiency test as per Schedule-IV (Part-D) of the R&P Rules, 2015.
2. Personal Assistant/Judgment Writer – Mode-D

Pay Level: Level-12, ₹43,000–₹1,36,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate Senior Scale Stenographers working in the District Judiciary of H.P.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Senior Scale Stenographer.
- English Stenography speed: 110 W.P.M.
- English typing speed on computer: 55 W.P.M.
- The dictated matter has to be transcribed within 5 times the time allotted for dictation and typing.
- Maximum 10% mistakes are permitted.
- More than 10% mistakes will result in disqualification.
- Recruitment will be conducted on the basis of a limited competitive proficiency test as per Schedule-IV (Part-D) of the R&P Rules, 2015.
3. Stenographer – Mode-B

Pay Level: Level-11, ₹38,500–₹1,22,700
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Junior Scale Stenographers working in the High Court or District Judiciary in Himachal Pradesh are eligible, subject to the experience requirements mentioned in the advertisement.
- For Junior Scale Stenographers of the High Court: 1 year experience
- For Junior Scale Stenographers of District Judiciary: 3 years experience
- English Stenography speed: 100 W.P.M.
- English typing speed on computer: 50 W.P.M.
- The dictated matter has to be transcribed within 5 times the time allotted for dictation and typing.
- Maximum 10% mistakes are allowed.
- More than 10% mistakes will result in the candidate being declared unqualified.
- Recruitment will be based on a limited competitive proficiency test under Schedule-IV (Part-D) of the R&P Rules, 2015.
