| Junior Accountant | Bachelor degree in commerce from recognized university/institution, should have basic knowledge of computer Operation with at least one year Computer Training Certificate from recognized/reputed institution. | Environmental Specialist/Expert | Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Sciences/ Civil Engineering /Biological Sciences/ Ecological Sciences, Hydrology from recognized university, Experience: at least 5 years experience in assessing environmental impacts, field based environmental research, significant involvement in EIAs and ESIAs of hydropower projects preferably in the Himalayan region. Developing environmental management plans/frameworks and monitoring and evolution strategies with at least 3 years in handling and coordinating hard core EIA/ESIA. Familiarity with the world bank/IFC safeguard policies and good knowledge of hydropower projects, especially the catchment management and hydrological monitoring is highly desirable. Experience having worked on world bank/or other Donor agency supported project is preferred, but not essential. Knowledge of Ecological limits of hydrologic alteration (ELOHA) framework is desirable. |
