Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognised university or an institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
The graduation marksheet and provisional/final degree certificate must meet the notification’s specified date requirements. Candidates should verify their eligibility before submitting the application.
Applicants must also be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT for which they apply. Candidates who studied the specified local language in Class 10 or Class 12 and produce the relevant certificate may be exempt from the local-language test.

The age limit is calculated as of 1 October 2026.
