Himachal Pradesh Government has created the post of Chairman in the newly formed State Selection Commission, Hamirpur. 2009 cadre IAS officer Dr. RK Pruthi has been given the additional charge of Chairman of the Commission. To speed up the recruitment process in the state, the Sukhu government has given the additional charge of the Chairman to Dr. RK Pruthi, the Chief Administrator of the Selection Commission, till the appointment of the Chairman is made.
