IIT Mandi Library Trainee Recruitment 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has officially released the notification for the recruitment of Library Trainees on a purely temporary basis for one year. Important Details

• All eligible candidates are required to bring a filled Application form along with a recent passport-size photograph affixed to it. All original documents and a set of self-attested copy of mark sheets should be available with the candidate.
• The position is tenable at IIT Mandi at Kamand, Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
• The post listed above is a purely temporary position on a contract basis for a year for an internship purpose only.
• The post is open to all eligible candidates.
• The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post, or to cancel the advertisement in whole or in part, without assigning any reason. The Institute also reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for the written test and/or walkin interview. The decision of the Institute in this regard shall be final and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court at Mandi only.
• No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding the conduct of the exam & trade test and the result of the test & trade test, and the reasons for not being called for the test/trade test. Syllabus of the selection process will be based on the M.Lib Science courses. The weightage of the exam & trade test will be in the ratio of 75:25.
• No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the written test/Interview.
