HP TET Arts Eligibility Criteria
a. B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduation(Master Degree in any discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.A./B.Com) from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and 1-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ 2-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions.

b. Post-Graduation (Master Degree in any discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.A./B.Com) with a minimum 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institutions.

a. B.Sc.(Non-Medical)/ Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any Science discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc. (NM)) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks either in B.Sc (NM) or in Post-Graduation and 1-year’s Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ 2-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions.

HPTET Sanskrit Eligibility Criteria
a. Shastri/Graduation with Sanskrit as an elective subject and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education. Shastri/Graduation with Sanskrit as an elective subject/Post Graduation with Sanskrit/Acharya from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in Shastri/Graduation/Post Graduation/Acharya and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
OR
b. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with Sanskrit as an elective subject.
OR
c. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed. with Sanskrit as an elective subject or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed with Sanskrit as an elective subject.
OR
d. Graduation with Sanskrit as an elective subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) from a RCI approved Institute and possess a valid RCI and CRR number or B.Ed with a recognized qualification (Certificate /Diploma) from a RCI approved institution similar to B.Ed in Special Education and posses a valid RCI and CRR number.
OR
e. 4 years degree of B.A.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed with Sanskrit as an elective subject from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

f. Post Graduation in Sanskrit/Acharya with minimum 55% marks and three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

g. Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) & having Shastri/ Graduation with Sanskrit Post Graduation with Sanskrit / Acharya with at least 50% marks .
HPTET Hindi Eligibility Criteria
a. Graduation with Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized University and 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education.

b. Graduation with Hindi as an elective subject/Post Graduation in Hindi from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and 1 year’s Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/2 Year’s Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)
OR
c) Senior Secondary with at least 50%marks and 4-year’s Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with Hindi as an elective subject.
OR
d) Senior Secondary with at least 50%marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.ScEd with Hindi as an elective subject.

e) Graduation with Hindi as an elective subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education from a RCI approved Institute and possess a valid RCI and CRR number or B.Ed with a recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma) from a RCI Page 12 of 28 approved institution, which is similar to B.ED. a. 10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks from a recognized Board of School Education and 2 years JBT/ D.El.Ed from an institute affiliated to Himachal Pradesh board of School Education (HPBOSE).

b. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2- years JBT/D.El.Ed (by whatever name known).
